To collect data about how extra-academic services for students are perceived and how they operate.

Respondents were asked to comment on a number of statements about: university goals; the roles of lecturers and supervisors; the careers and appointments service; the student counselling service; the university health service and the accommodation office.
Background Variables
Age, sex, marital status, number of children, type of schools attended, father's occupation, year of entry in university teaching (in general and specifically at Hull). Faculty, positions held (academic and non-academic).
