The following data formats have been prepared by the History Data
Service.

ArcInfo export file (1 *.e00 file)

AND

ArcView shape files (2 files, 1 .shp and 1 .shx)

AND

ArcView dBase file (1 .dbf file)

AND

ArcView index file (1 .sbn file)

AND

Adobe Illustrator Tsume file (1 *. sbx file)

If requested, data may have been supplied in other formats where
practicable.



Using the Data
==============
Users are advise to use the data in conjunction with the information 
contained on disc 1 of study 4348; Kain & Oliver's Historic parishes of 
England and Wales and with the contents of file "guide_error.pdf | .rtf" 
in mind. All files in the folder package have to be put into the same 
directory for working with this resource.



Documentation
=============
The file "guide.rtf | .pdf" is comprised by user supplied documentation 
with minor amendments.



File Name Changes
=================
The depositor supplied documentation "Error Log" has been renamed 
"guide_errors".
