Abstract:
The purpose of this study was to:
extend the British General Election Study to Northern Ireland (the British General Election Study, 1992 is held at The Data Archive under study number 2981)
provide longitudinal comparisons with previous work in the same area, namely Rose (1971) and Moxon-Browne (1983)
provide, for the first time, an attitudinal survey `locked into' a specific general election
to compare social attitudes in Northern Ireland and Britain.
